Its also known as Bowman Lachrimal Probe is a very thin malleable rod with a rounded end used for clearing a nasolacrimal duct, or in procedures within the lacrimal system. This double-ended instrument has different size tips on each end and the center features a tongue tie that is used as a holding point. This probe has the size (0.7 mm + 0.8 mm) – Â (1.8 mm + 1.9 mm) tips. The size Fig. 00/0 tip is the smallest Bowman tip available. The overall length of the probe is 130 mm.
