Inge Lamina Spreader without Teeth
Inge Retractor without Teeth. The Inge Retractor, also known as the Inge Lamina Spreader, is an orthopedic instrument frequently used in a spinal procedure called laminectomy, or decompression surgery. This procedure is done to create space in the spinal canal by removing portions of the lamina vertebra, thereby alleviating pressure on the spinal cord and nerves. The instrument may also be used in other orthopedic procedures involving knee, foot/ankle, and hand/wrist joints. It features a double-spring, plier handle with a bar ratchet that is used to spread apart, or distract, the lamina, bony fragments or joints. This product has curved jaws and an overall length of 170 mm.
