SMS Instrument TC Meriam dissecting forceps Used to grasp or transfer materials in and out of the oral cavity. The instrument have serrated or smooth tips for a positive grip. All forceps are made of stainless steel to prevent tip bending and misalignment. The working end of the forceps can be straight or curved, and serrated or smooth. SMS Tungsten Carbide forceps provide an exceptionally durable edge, designed to stay sharp for a long period of time and increases the overall life the instrument. Tungsten Carbide known as TC is up to five times harder than stainless steel. We make sure the permanent bonding of the tungsten carbide inserts to the forceps which maximizes control and precision as well.

Dissecting Forceps Tungsten Carbide
A Dental dissecting Forceps hold gently between thumb and fingers, the middle finger playing the pivotal role. The forceps has two parts one blade and other tip. Blade is long. On outer surface, there are serration for better grip for handling. The shaft of dissecting forceps is closed by thumb and fingers so it is known as thumb forceps.
Uses
