SMS Instrument Adson-Brown Tissue Forceps are for holding and manipulating delicate tissues. These forceps have a wide, flat thumb grasp area that is commonly serrated. The jaws are short and the tips are narrow. This product is straight with 7×7 teeth, and a length of 4-3/4 inches. Adson-Brown thumb forceps are similar to Adson forceps, expect these forceps are designed with fine teeth at the tips used for grasping delicate tissue. All Adson tissue forceps are the same size and shape. There are differentiated by the inner tips. It is important to ensure that the teeth are properly aligned and in working order before use. Exercise care when handling forceps with teeth. The sharp teeth can easily compromise the integrity of your gloves, skin and those of the surgeon.
