A conventional laryngoscope is the viewing instrument most commonly used for tracheal intubations. Conventional Laryngoscope Handles are available in Standard, Penlight and Stubby configurations. The Penlight handle mostly configure for Baby and Infant gives improved balance with smaller blades like 00, 0 and 1. and the Stubby handle is designed to facilitate difficult intubation on a short neck or a barrel-chested patient.
The bulb is located in the blade and all handles and blades are interchangeable with other ‘Hook-on’ standards compliant components.
